Privacy Policy

PartnerCue ("the App," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices for the PartnerCue mobile application, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The short version: we do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any of your personal data or your partner's cycle data. Everything happens entirely on your device.

1. Data We Collect

We collect nothing. PartnerCue is designed with a "local-only" architecture:

• No account creation, sign-up, email, or password is ever required or requested.
• No cycle dates, phase predictions, notes, or baseline configuration data (partner's name, cycle length, period length, etc.) are ever transmitted off your device.
• We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or usage-tracking tools of any kind (e.g., no Firebase, Mixpanel, Segment, or Google Analytics tied to app usage or content).
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies, as the App does not connect to any web services for its core functionality.
• We do not collect device identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All information you enter into PartnerCue — including cycle dates, predictions, notes, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using:

• On-device encryption: Data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption (SQLCipher), with the encryption key generated at first launch and stored in your device's hardware security module (Apple Secure Enclave or Android StrongBox/Keystore, where available).
• No cloud backup: The App's data files are explicitly excluded from iCloud backup (iOS) and Android auto-backup, so your data is never copied to any cloud service, by us or by your device's operating system.
• No server, no sync: There is no backend server associated with PartnerCue. We have no database, no servers, and no ability to view, access, recover, or restore your data under any circumstance.

3. Data Deletion

Because all data lives only on your device:

• Uninstalling the App permanently and irrecoverably deletes all data. There is no shadow copy, backup, or server-side record anywhere. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered by you or by us.
• You may also clear data manually at any time using the "Data Wipe" option in Settings, if available in your version of the App.

4. In-App Purchases

PartnerCue offers optional premium features (e.g., $1.99/month subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase). All purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play Billing:

• We do not receive, process, or store your payment information (card numbers, billing address, etc.). This is handled entirely by Apple/Google under their own respective privacy policies.
• Premium status is verified on-device using native store receipt validation. No purchase or entitlement data is sent to us, because we have no server to send it to.

5. Crash Reporting

If PartnerCue includes any crash-reporting functionality, it is configured to exclude any personal data, cycle data, or other identifying information before any report is generated. If we cannot guarantee this scrubbing, no crash reporting tool is included at all.

6. Notifications

If you enable push notifications (e.g., phase transition reminders), these are scheduled and delivered locally by your device's operating system based on data stored on your device. No notification content or scheduling data is sent to or processed by any external server.

7. Children's Privacy

PartnerCue is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, consistent with the fact that we do not collect information from any user at all.

8. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services. The only third parties involved are Apple and Google, solely for App distribution and in-app purchase processing, as described in Section 4.

9. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Similar Laws)

Because PartnerCue does not collect, process, transmit, or store any personal data on any server or database we control, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf under regulations such as the GDPR or CCPA. All data resides solely on your device and is fully within your control at all times — you can view, edit, or permanently delete it directly within the App or by uninstalling it.

PartnerCue provides general relationship and lifestyle guidance based on cycle phase estimates. It is not a medical device, is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Please see our Terms of Service for full details.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
